🔍 Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Engineer (Contractual Role) to join our Engineering | SCADA department in KSA (Western region-Makkah) .

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the SCADA system to ensure continuous and reliable system performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of SCADA servers, workstations, and related components.
• Co-ordination with different site teams for cross-functional coordination & communication
• Arabic language proficiency is required, including strong technical writing skills and experience in preparing documentation in Arabic.
• Monitor system alarms, events, and logs and respond promptly to abnormal conditions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA software, communication, and integration issues.
• Maintain system backups, restore procedures, and data integrity.
• Support configuration changes, system updates, and patch management.
• Coordinate with field teams and IT teams for issue resolution and system improvements.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and access control procedures.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, and reports.
• Assist in system upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
• Ensure high system availability and minimal downtime for critical operations.
• Ability to Design, write, implement, test, and document SCADA and HMI logic/scripts.
• Develop and execute SCADA system validation/testing protocols.
• Install, test, and commission SCADA systems onsite.
• Deliver training to operators and engineers on SCADA systems.
  
  

📦 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Computer Sciences.
• 3+ years of experience in
• AVEVA System Platform
• WinCC 8.0 & WinCC OA 3.20
• AVEVA OMI Application Manager 23.1
• Siemens switches & network firewalls
