Job Purpose
To safely erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with approved standards and project requirements, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations and site procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding systems as per approved drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Ensure scaffolding is safe, secure, and fit for purpose before use.
- Conduct routine inspections and report defects immediately.
- Follow eWMS (ATA Approved) procedures and site safety requirements.
- Comply with Work at Height regulations at all times.
- Perform work in confined spaces when required, following approved safety procedures.
- Use tools, equipment, and PPE correctly and responsibly.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure safe access solutions.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Adhere to company HSE policies and international scaffolding standards.
Mandatory Qualifications & Certifications
- Scaffolder Competency Certificate or
- CISRS Overseas Scaffolder Training Scheme – Level 1 Certification
- eWMS (ATA Approved)
- Work at Height Certification
- Confined Space CertificationApproved Training / Course Providers

Experience & Skills
- Minimum experience as per project or client requirements.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding components, systems, and load limits.
- Ability to read and understand scaffold drawings and method statements.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
