Scaffolding & Formwork Engineer – PMV Division

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Scaffolding & Formwork Engineer to join our PMV Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and ensuring the safe execution of scaffolding and formwork systems across multiple construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and approve scaffolding and formwork plans in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and supervisors regarding installation, dismantling, and modifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
• Prepare material estimates, load calculations, and technical drawings.
• Monitor scaffolding and formwork utilization to maximize efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure proper maintenance and certification of scaffolding materials and equipment.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments as required.
• Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to scaffolding/formwork activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of UAE/GCC experience in scaffolding and formwork engineering within construction/contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of international safety standards and regulations.
• Experience with major scaffolding/formwork systems (Cuplock, Ringlock, Frame, Aluminum systems, etc.).
• Ability to perform structural/load calculations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
