Scaffolding Inspector

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Scaffolding Inspector to ensure all scaffolding structures meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and certifying scaffolding systems to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect scaffolding structures before use to ensure compliance with safety regulations and design specifications
• Conduct routine and periodic inspections of scaffolds on-site
• Identify hazards, defects, or structural weaknesses and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure all scaffolding tags and documentation are properly maintained and updated
• Monitor scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities
• Provide guidance and training to workers on scaffolding safety practices
• Maintain inspection reports and records in accordance with company and legal requirements
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and HSE teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Inspector or in a similar role
• Certification in scaffolding inspection (e.g., CISRS or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Ability to identify risks and implement corrective measures
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in engineering or related field
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
• Familiarity with international safety standards (OSHA, BS EN, etc.)
