SCEIS Communications Director
The Department of Administration's (Admin) Office of Strategic Communications is seeking an experienced SCEIS Communications Director to join its team. This office helps to strengthen our agency engagement by delivering effective, strategic messaging across both digital and traditional platforms. If you have a background in public information, this position could be for you! In this role, you will support Admin and its customers by developing, coordinating, and distributing communications across print and online platforms for the SC Enterprise Information Systems (SCEIS). SCEIS is the backbone of our agency's business processes and ultimately empowers decision makers to improve government for the citizens. You will collaborate closely with technical and functional teams, as well as training and organizational change management partners, to deliver accurate, timely, and impactful information to end users and stakeholders.
This position is onsite in Columbia, SC.
Responsibilities of the SCEIS Communications Director:-
Oversee SCEIS Communications and collaborate with all areas of SCEIS to develop weekly update emails, announcements, web content, PowerPoint presentations and other forms of written and visual communications.

Collaborate with SCEIS team leads and management, to develop communications plans for projects and initiatives. Ensure project teams are aware of communication activities, potential risks and customer feedback.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with SCEIS and Admin leadership, employees, SCEIS users, customers and agency partners to identify and deliver effective communications to meet agency and customer needs.

Attend SCEIS meetings to encourage communication planning and evaluate ongoing communication needs.

Oversee and manage the SCEIS website. Coordinate with all pertinent SCEIS functional teams and data owners to ensure website content is maintained appropriately and regularly updated. Recommend content and structural changes based on analysis of major system changes, user feedback, and SAP communication best practices.

Assist Admin Strategic Communications with internal and external communications efforts or projects as needed.
