Florida Cardiovascular Partners is seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Medical Scheduler to join our team in Stuart, FL. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless patient experience by coordinating appointments, diagnostic testing, and provider schedules in a fast-paced cardiology practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, procedures, and diagnostic testing (e.g., echo, vascular, stress testing)
• Coordinate provider schedules to maximize efficiency and patient access
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, referrals, and authorizations prior to scheduling
• Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls related to scheduling
• Handle appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling in a timely manner
• Provide patients with clear instructions for upcoming appointments and procedures
• Ensure all scheduling documentation is accurate within the electronic health record (NextGen preferred)
• Collaborate with front desk, clinical staff, and providers to support patient flow
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Provide coverage support across multiple office locations as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of medical scheduling, healthcare, or call center experience preferred
• Experience with EHR systems (NextGen strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and referrals preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule

• Full-time, non-exempt position
• Monday–Friday schedule
