Having adequate staffing coverage in a skilled nursing facility is directly related to quality of care. The Facility Staff Scheduler will be responsible for managing scheduling at the facility for C.N.As, C.M.As, LVNs, and RNs.
Utilize the HRIS Scheduler to research openings in the Schedule at assigned location(s).
If requested sit in interviews for applicants.
Work closely with facility Human Resources Coordinator to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Must ensure that overtime is kept to a minimum.
Reaching out to employees by phone to cover shifts if someone calls into work.
Be on call for any last minute schedule changes.
If C.N.A. or Nurse may be utilized on the floor.
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of healthcare scheduling experience
Friendly and clear communication skills
Strong understanding of computer applications
Certified Nurse Aide or Charge Nurse experience is highly preferred.
