POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Scheduler schedules mammography and DEXA appointments at multiple Charlotte Radiology facilities.

SHIFT: Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule mammography and dexa appointments. Provides information to the patient, in regard to anniversary dates and proper recommendation for return. Coordinate scheduling at multiple facilities
• Works closely with the authorization department ensuring efficiency
• Maintain effective communication with Special Accounts
• Maintain effective record and data base information

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensing/Certification:

• Highschool Education

Experience (years and type):

• Less than 1 year
• Medical office, Customer service experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Knowledge of Windows and Outlook
• Medical office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to multitask and shift priorities
• Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills
• Must have excellent organizational and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to withstand long periods of sitting and repetitive handwork

Travel Required (% of time):

• 0-25%

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Primarily sitting
• Lift 25 lbs.
