Scheduling & Project Coordinator for Landscape Gardening Co. hybrid position 85% remote 15% onsite

Overview
We are a small, detail-focused gardening company serving the Seacoast of New Hampshire and Southern Maine, including Portsmouth, North Hampton, Rye, Exeter, and York. Our work centers on thoughtful garden care—seasonal planting, pruning, and maintaining established beds with an eye for balance, plant health, and natural beauty.

Many of the properties we care for are peaceful, well-loved spaces—coastal gardens, tucked-away yards, and homes where the landscape is part of daily life. Our clients value their surroundings, and our work reflects a quieter, more intentional approach to gardening and service.

Behind the scenes, that work depends on careful coordination. We are looking for a remote team member to help manage the daily flow of our field crews—someone who enjoys organization, communicates clearly, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Duties

• Build and manage weekly schedules for a team of 5–8 gardeners across multiple properties
• Coordinate daily routes with attention to efficiency, travel time, and workload balance
• Adjust schedules as needed due to weather, seasonal priorities, and client needs
• Communicate with clients via email regarding scheduling and customer service
• Assist with project coordination for installations (materials, labor, and timing)

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar scheduling or coordination role is required—ideally supporting field teams in a service-based business
• Proven ability to manage multiple schedules and shifting priorities
• Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets)
• Strong written communication and professionalism with clients
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote setting
• Comfortable making decisions and keeping things on track without constant oversight
• Preferred experience in landscaping, gardening, nursery business (not required)

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
