School Assistant

Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a dependable, service-minded School-wide Assistant to support the daily operations of our school. This is a part-time position, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM.

The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and enjoys working in a Christ-centered educational environment. This role is essential in supporting both administrative functions and classroom activities, helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily administrative and front office tasks, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and supporting communication with families
• Provide classroom support to teachers as needed, including preparing materials, assisting with small groups, and helping maintain an orderly learning environment
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other non-classroom times to ensure safety and appropriate behavior
• Assist with morning drop-off and afternoon carline procedures to ensure efficient and safe student transitions
• Support school events, activities, and special projects as needed
• Perform general clerical and organizational duties to support school operations

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to serve wherever needed
• Ability to work well with children, faculty, and parents
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM
