School Bus Attendant

Job Purpose:

To ensure the safety, well-being, and proper conduct of students during transportation to and from school, and to assist the bus driver in managing student behavior and attendance on the bus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students while boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Maintain student discipline and ensure orderly conduct during the ride.
• Take attendance of students on the bus and report any absentees or issues.
• Ensure that all students are seated with seatbelts fastened.
• Monitor young children and provide assistance as needed.
• Help students with special needs or disabilities on and off the bus.
• Ensure no student is left behind on the bus at any time.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and the transport team.
• Follow all RTA safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Keep the bus environment clean and organized.
• Report any concerns or incidents immediately to the transport supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum high school education preferred.
• Prior experience working as school bus attendant .
• Good communication skills .
• Patient, alert, and responsible.
• Physically fit to assist students when required.
• Must have a valid RTA Bus Attendant Permit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
