School Counsellor

Job description:

Develop a thorough understanding of MyPeegu’s processes, services, and protocols to deliver expert psychological services to partner schools, including counseling, workshops, assessments, and stakeholder engagement.

Design, implement, and manage interventions for parents, teachers, and students to enhance psychological well-being and performance across school communities.

Lead program creation, execution, and evaluation to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of services, supporting assessments and ensuring high standards.

Mentor and supervise junior psychologists, interns, and coordinators to foster growth and enhance service delivery.

Conduct and oversee psychological assessments, provide feedback, and ensure ethical standards are met.

Organize professional development sessions and create resources such as workshops, presentations, and toolkits tailored to stakeholder needs.

Contribute to research projects, publications, and innovative ideas to enhance MyPeegu’s influence and digital presence.

Reporting & Supervision:

Reports to: Associate/Senior Associate Psychologist

Supervises: Junior Psychologists, Interns, and Coordinators

Required Skills & Expertise:

Strong knowledge of psychology and child development, with the ability to translate concepts into impactful interventions.

Research expertise with experience in data analysis and methodology.

Proven leadership and team supervision skills to ensure consistent service quality.

Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and design tools like Canva for presentations and reports.

Effective crisis management and stakeholder relationship-building skills.

Relevant Experience: 2-3 years
