Starting Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Location: Serving Clinton & Essex County Schools, home site can be in Plattsburgh, Elizabethtown, or Mineville depending upon candidate.

Anticipated Start Date: May or June 2026

Position Information: Our CVES Food Service Director (FSD), founder of our nationally recognized cafeteria management program, will retire at the end of this school year. We are seeking a dynamic leader to build on the strong foundation she established and guide the program into its next phase of growth. The FSD oversees operations across nine participating schools and leads a high-performing team of five school lunch managers, a cook manager, and an assistant. Over the past eight years, the program has expanded from three districts to nine schools, reflecting consistent growth and success. The incoming FSD will receive comprehensive training, support, and mentorship from the retiring director during the first 12 months, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellence.

Paid Time Off: 12-month position with 20 paid holidays, snow days off, 15 vacation days, 18 sick days, 5 personal leave days, 3 family illness days and 3 bereavement days per occurrence

Health Insurance: Platinum Plan 2 through the CEWW health insurance consortium which is the same as 15 local school districts.
