Job Title: School HR Lead

Location: EuroSchool – HSR Campus
Reporting To: Principal

Role Summary

The HR Lead is responsible for managing the complete Human Resource function at EuroSchool – HSR. The role ensures effective recruitment, employee onboarding, engagement, performance monitoring, adherence to HR policies, and statutory compliance. The HR Lead acts as a strategic partner to the Principal to foster a professional, positive, and student-centric school culture.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, non-teaching, and support staff.
  • Work with the Principal to forecast staffing requirements for the academic year.
  • Conduct interviews, coordinate demo sessions, and ensure timely selection closures.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline and support transfers/relocation requests as applicable.

2. Onboarding & Induction

  • Facilitate smooth joining formalities including document verification, issuance of offer/appointment letters, ID cards, and HR records.
  • Conduct structured induction to familiarize staff with school culture, academic policies, and expectations.
  • Coordinate joining kits and welcome touchpoints to ensure positive first impressions.

3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Plan and execute staff engagement programs, celebrations, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities.
  • Conduct skip-level conversations, open forums, and staff huddles to build trust and connectedness.
  • Support Principal with staff communication, circulars, and internal announcements.

4. Attendance, Payroll & HR Operations

  • Ensure daily attendance monitoring and leave administration using HR systems.
  • Prepare monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with the central HR payroll team.
  • Manage insurance, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance as per organizational guidelines.

5. Performance & Development

  • Facilitate teacher observation cycles, appraisal processes, and professional development activities.
  • Support academic heads in counselling, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
  • Maintain records and timely follow-ups on staff development and progression.

6. Employee Relations & Conduct Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievance handling.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies, code of conduct, and professional ethics.
  • Manage disciplinary procedures firmly yet sensitively, with confidentiality.

7. HR Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate HR files, MIS data, audit records, and compliance documents.
  • Prepare dashboards, joining & exit reports, attendance analytics, and monthly HR updates for Principal review.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and follow-through ability.
  • High level of integrity, empathy, and confidentiality in handling staff matters.
  • Familiarity with school academic functioning (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR or related field.
  • Minimum 3 –5 years of HR experience; experience in the Education / Service sector is preferable.
  • Experience in handling a workforce of 100+ employees is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
