School Librarian – Ajman

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the school library.
  • Organize and maintain books, digital resources, and reference materials.
  • Support students and teachers in accessing learning and research materials.
  • Promote literacy and a love for reading across the school.
  • Plan and conduct library activities, reading programs, and book fairs.
  • Ensure the library is an inclusive and welcoming space for all learners.
  • Keep records of library inventory and oversee borrowing/return procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Librarian in a school (UAE experience preferred).
  • MoE approval is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with library management systems and digital resources.
  • Strong organizational and cataloguing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
