We are looking for a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to join our dedicated team at Samashti International School, Kollur.
She will play a crucial role in providing medical care, promoting health education and ensuring the safety of our students and staff.

Responsibilities
- Provide primary healthcare services to students, including assessment and treatment of injuries and illnesses
- Administer medications and monitor individual health conditions according to physician's orders and school policies
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records for each student, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote health education, develop comprehensive health and wellness programs, and address individual student needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and protocols
- Conduct health screenings, vaccinations, and other health-related assessments as required
- Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, such as hygiene, nutrition, and prevention of communicable diseases
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care and support
Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing with RN (Registered Nurse) and valid license to practice as a nurse
- Previous experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, teachers, and medical professionals
- Knowledge of health promotion and wellness strategies
- Proficiency in administering medications, including proper dosage calculation and documentation
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
