Job Summary:

The Nursing Incharge / Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining compliance with medical protocols and hospital policies. This role requires leadership, organizational, and clinical skills to manage staff efficiently and provide quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, guide, and support the nursing team to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate nursing activities and patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff and provide training when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients, staff schedules, and departmental reports.
  • Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
  • Handle patient and family queries and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate updates effectively.
  • Monitor infection control practices and hygiene standards within the hospital.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Nursing (B.Sc. / GNM).
  • Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of clinical experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, protocols, and patient care standards.

  • Conflict management and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in medical record-keeping and reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
