School Principal

The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative head of the school, responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student development. The role involves overseeing curriculum implementation, teacher training, parent engagement, and school operations while maintaining the ethos and excellence of Paathshala.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

• Develop and implement an engaging, child-centric curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and CBSE/ICSE standards.
• Promote innovative teaching methodologies, including experiential and inquiry-based learning.
• Ensure regular teacher training, mentoring, and professional development.
• Monitor student performance and implement academic improvement strategies.

Administrative Management

• Oversee daily operations of the school, including timetables, infrastructure, and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with educational boards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Manage admissions, budgets, and school records efficiently.
• Lead and support the staff to maintain a positive and productive school culture.

Parent & Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with parents, maintaining open and transparent communication.
• Organize orientations, PTMs, events, and community programs to strengthen parent-school collaboration.
• Represent the school in community forums, education fairs, and local educational bodies.

Strategic Growth

• Contribute to the school’s growth vision by developing academic goals and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with management on new initiatives, expansion plans, and brand building.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of [Your School Name] through effective leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed/B.Ed) or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership or administrative role (as Headmistress, Vice-Principal, or Principal).
• Strong understanding of early childhood and primary education systems, pedagogy, and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience in school ERP systems and digital learning tools.
