ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Primary Role of a School Principal is to guide, lead and oversee daily operations, academic programs and the overall growth of the school.
Academic Leadership:
- Set academic goals and standards in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Supervise and support teachers in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
- Monitor student progress and academic performance.
- Personally oversee Grade 9-10 curriculum planning and implementation.
- Create the timetable, co-scholastics, exam schedule, and exam-related materials along with the Vice Principal and Coordinators.
- Collaborate with concerned departments to plan school events such as celebrations, annual day, sports day, etc., ensuring their smooth execution.
- Regularly conducting classroom observations to assess teaching quality, student engagement, and instructional effectiveness.
- Devote a fixed number of periods in a week to teaching the student.
Student Welfare:
- Address student concerns promptly, implement retention strategies such as academic support programs, and foster a sense of belonging within the school community.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Address disciplinary issues and promote positive behaviour.
Administrative Leadership:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school.
- Implement policies and procedures in line with CBSE guidelines.
- Manage school budgets, resources, and facilities effectively.
- Oversee the admission process.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the school budget efficiently.
- Develop and implement a robust fee collection strategy to ensure timely and complete payments from parents/guardians.
- Monitor fee payment deadlines, follow up on outstanding payments and initiate appropriate actions for non-compliance.
- Approval of vendor invoices and bills to maintain financial transparency and accuracy.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with CBSE regulations, including academic standards, examinations, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for school performance and activities.
- Uphold ethical standards and promote transparency in school operations.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train qualified teaching and administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster professional development opportunities.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work culture among the staff.
- Conduct regular evaluations and feedback sessions to identify staff needs and address issues that may affect the retention of talented and dedicated staff.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the school in external forums and networking with educational organizations.
- Stay updated on educational trends, research, and best practices.
Crisis Management:
- Be prepared to handle emergencies or crises that may arise within the school.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures for various scenarios.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders during crises.
Qualification and Experience:
Post-graduate, B.Ed/M.Ed.
Minimum experience of 3 to 4 years.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
