Duties

• Provides interventions to students to support the teaching process and to maximize learning and adjustment.
• Provide counseling and support services to students facing social or emotional challenges, promoting resilience and positive coping skills.
• Consult with educators on classroom management techniques and strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
• Advocate for students’ mental health needs by connecting families with community resources and support services.
• Qualifications
• Hold a specialist degree or higher in School psychology.
• Have at least two years of successful experience as a School Psychologist.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and special education laws.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and community partners.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
