Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct social work services to students, including counseling and behavioral support tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for supporting students’ social-emotional development.
- Conduct assessments related to child protective services, child welfare, special education needs, and crisis management situations.
- Implement crisis intervention techniques during emergencies or behavioral incidents, ensuring student safety and well-being.
- Facilitate conflict management sessions and cultural diversity counseling to promote understanding and respect among students.
- Assist students facing challenges related to behavioral health or family issues by connecting them with community resources and support services.
- Document casework activities accurately while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or equivalent credential.
- Proven experience working with children in educational or community settings; experience in special education is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of child protective services procedures, crisis intervention strategies, and crisis management protocols.
- Familiarity with behavioral health issues affecting children and adolescents, including trauma-informed care practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
