Key responsibilities
- Student supervision and discipline:
- Monitor student conduct during non-instructional times like recess, lunch, and transitions between classes.
- Ensure compliance with school rules, safety procedures, and the code of conduct.
- Manage student attendance and address absence.
- Academic and teacher support:
- Observe teachers, provide feedback, and document their performance.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, curriculum development, and professional growth.
- Conduct classroom and lesson plan evaluations to ensure quality and alignment with school standards.
- Administrative and logistical support:
- Coordinate with senior management, department heads, and teachers to address issues and implement school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain records, including attendance, student data, and other information on school management systems.
- Assist with administrative tasks like scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing school-wide events.
- Compliance and reporting:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant school laws and regulations.
- Report any issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications and skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education or a related field
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a language or international school environment, is preferred.
- Technical skills: Computer literacy, especially proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Interpersonal skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for managing staff, students, and daily operations.
- Language skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic is required
