Position Title: Science Teacher

Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal

Job Summary:

The Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons aligned with the school curriculum. The teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in students while ensuring a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured science lessons in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.
• Teach key topics including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science as per grade-level requirements.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and lab activities that make learning interactive and enjoyable.
• Conduct experiments and demonstrations safely, ensuring proper use of lab materials and equipment.
• Evaluate and assess student progress through classwork, assignments, projects, and tests.
• Maintain accurate student records and report academic performance to parents and school authorities.
• Encourage students to explore and inquire through practical applications and scientific reasoning.
• Participate in school events, science fairs, and academic enrichment activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science with other subjects where possible.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc. / B.Ed. in Science) or higher qualification in the subject area.
• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at middle school level preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage students through creative teaching methods.
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
