Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our secondary school academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and a passion for inspiring students to explore and excel in Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in accordance with the curriculum (CBSE).
• Teach concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science for secondary-grade students.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning activities aligned with the learning objectives.
• Conduct lab activities and experiments ensuring proper safety measures and student participation.
• Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, practical exams, and projects.
• Maintain accurate academic records including attendance, grades, student progress reports, etc.
• Use innovative teaching methodologies including digital tools, models, charts, and experiential learning approaches.
• Provide academic guidance and additional support to students who require assistance.
• Participate actively in school events, competitions, science fairs, PTMs, and subject-related activities.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty and contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
• Ensure discipline, classroom decorum, and a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or related fields).
• B.Ed (mandatory).
• Prior teaching experience in a secondary school (preferred: 2+ years).
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools (smartboards, content platforms, MS Office, etc.).
