Science Teacher

As-Suffa School of Excellence is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to deliver well-structured and engaging science lessons that foster curiosity, inquiry, and conceptual understanding. The role involves planning and implementing curriculum-aligned lessons, ensuring effective classroom management, and maintaining a disciplined yet supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and active student participation. The teacher will conduct laboratory experiments safely, assess student progress through regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will utilize modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), to enhance learning outcomes. Strong communication and organizational skills are required to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. The role demands professionalism, dedication, and at least one year of relevant teaching experience, along with a collaborative approach to supporting the school’s academic vision and values.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver clear, engaging, and student-centered science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Plan and prepare lesson materials, including practical experiments, ensuring safety and adherence to school policies.
• Manage classroom behavior with effective strategies to maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Utilize educational technologies and Learning Management Systems to support and enhance student learning.
• Create an inquiry-based learning atmosphere that promotes critical thinking and curiosity in scientific topics.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in compliance with school regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching methods and participate in school activities and professional development.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration to support student growth and address any concerns.
• Uphold the values, vision, and professional standards of As-Suffa School in all teaching activities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related subject from a recognized institution.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics effectively.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote conceptual understanding and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a disciplined and supportive learning environment.
• Ability to conduct laboratory experiments safely and effectively.
• Competence in assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: From Rs30,000.00 per month
