Core Responsibilities
- Instructional Delivery: Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Science frameworks.
- Practical Application: Organize and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed while fostering hands-on learning.
- Curriculum Integration: Bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, encouraging students to think critically about the environment and technology.
- Assessment & Feedback: Design rigorous formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide data-driven feedback.
- Resource Management: Develop high-quality teaching materials and maintain an organized inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Professionalism: Maintain a proactive coordination link with the School Principal and Management regarding curriculum goals and facility requirements.
Candidate Specifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology) or a related educational field.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Science within a Cambridge-aligned school.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data organization and Microsoft Word for drafting lab manuals and assessments.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills to effectively explain complex scientific theories.
- Analytical Mindset: A commitment to the "learner attributes" of being reflective, innovative, and engaged.
Pay: From Rs45,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
