Job Summary

We are looking for highly capable Applied Mathematics professionals with an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics (or Applied Mathematics) who are interested in applying advanced mathematical methods and scientific computing to solve complex engineering and data-driven problems.

The role focuses on mathematical modeling, numerical methods, algorithm development, and implementation of scientific solutions using modern computing tools.

Qualifications

  • M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field
  • Strong foundation in:
    • Linear algebra, numerical methods, and optimization
    • Differential equations (ODEs / PDEs)
    • Probability, statistics, and stochastic processes
  • Strong academic or research background in mathematical modeling and computation

Technical Skills (Required / Preferred)

  • Proficiency in Python for scientific computing
  • Experience with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, SymPy, or similar
  • Familiarity with:
    • Numerical solvers and simulation methods
    • Optimization algorithms and model calibration
    • Data analysis and visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, etc.)
  • Exposure to C/C++ / Fortran / MATLAB is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop mathematical models for engineering and scientific problems
  • Implement numerical algorithms and simulations in Python
  • Perform analytical and numerical studies to validate models and assumptions
  • Optimize computational performance and numerical stability of algorithms
  • Work closely with domain engineers and data scientists to translate theory into practical solutions
  • Document mathematical formulations, assumptions, and results clearly
