Scientific Writer

Job Summary

The Scientific Writer plays a pivotal role in strengthening the visibility, impact, and understanding of Science and Innovations outputs. This position will support the analysis of research results and translate complex scientific findings into clear, compelling messages and visualizations tailored for scientific and non-scientific target audiences.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implement the science communication strategy designed by the Science Integration Manager and aligned with organizational goals and Science and Innovation priorities
• Scientific data processing and translation into technical articles, scientific manuscripts, journals and marketing materials
• Translate technical content into accessible formats (illustrations, articles, infographics, presentations, videos) for different target audiences
• Work closely with researchers and scientists to understand their findings and translate them into a format that can be understood by a broader audience
• Establish relationships and collaboration with commercial team (MarCom, sales)
• Act as a liaison between science integration and external partners to ensure consistent messaging
• Present scientific storylines in workshops, webinars, and events to disseminate research findings effectively
• Track and analyze the reach and effectiveness of communication activities using KPIs and feedback mechanisms
• Review and interpret R&D data, publications, and reports to extract relevant insights
• Stay up to date on the latest scientific developments within their field of collagen and supplements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nutritional Science, Medical Science, Pharma, Biomedical, Communication or related field
• 3-5 years of professional Scientific writing experience
• Familiarity with scientific databases and research tools
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and languages such as Python or R
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
• Strong ability to interpret complex scientific data and communicate it clearly
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills
• Presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and visualization best practices

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• PhD in above mentioned fields
• Other language skills preferred (Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, French or Chinese)
• Project management and stakeholder coordination experience
