About the Role
HCRG Care Group’s Warwickshire School Nursing Service is looking to support the future of School Nursing by offering the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) School Nurse programme to passionate registered Nurses and Midwives who want to develop their careers in public health.
As a SCPHN School Nurse Student, you will gain specialist knowledge and practical experience in promoting the health and wellbeing of school-aged children, young people and their families across community settings.
You will join our team on a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Band 5 contract. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be qualified as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) and will be eligible to apply for Band 6 School Nurse positions.
Base locations are available in Rugby and Stratford-upon-Avon, with placements and community-based working delivered across the wider Warwickshire Business Unit.
