Screen Printing Operator

<Job Overview>
Ignite your career as a Screen Printing Operator, where you will be at the forefront of transforming creative visions into vibrant, high-quality printed products. Job duties will also include embroidering and vinyl vehicle lettering. This dynamic role combines technical expertise with artistic flair, ensuring each print meets precise standards of color accuracy and design integrity. As a vital member of our manufacturing team, you will operate state-of-the-art printing equipment, manage prepress processes, and uphold rigorous quality control measures to deliver exceptional results that captivate and inspire.

<Duties>

  • Set up and operate screen printing machinery, including manual and automated presses, to produce a variety of printed materials with precision and efficiency
  • Prepare screens, inks, and substrates by performing prepress tasks such as image separation, color management, and layout adjustments using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to ensure color consistency, registration accuracy, and defect-free output
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs or CNC machining needs
  • Manage inventory of inks, screens, and printing supplies to ensure smooth workflow continuity
  • Collaborate with design teams to interpret artwork files, optimize print layouts, and ensure adherence to specifications for print advertising or promotional items
  • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed for loading raw materials or shipping finished products

<Qualifications>

  • Proven experience in screen printing techniques within a manufacturing or commercial print environment
  • Strong understanding of prepress processes including image separation, color management, and layout design
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of flexo press operations, CNC machinery, and machining processes is a plus
  • Familiarity with typography principles and print advertising standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials safely; forklift certification is preferred but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
