Scribe, CEP Orthopedics

Job Summary: A non-exempt position responsible for performing clerical and information technology functions for a healthcare provider in a clinic setting. This includes primary responsibility of the operation of the electronic health records and electronic dictation system which typically becomes part of the patient’s permanent file. The scribe must perform all duties in the office while in the presence of the Provider.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
• Completion of a Medical Assistant or EMT training program an asset but not required.
• Minimum one year of experience working in the medical field or with medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills. Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
