Script Writer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Script/Screen Content Writer to join our team of The ChandigarhBytes (the biggest community brand of tri-city & TCB with Sanwal Podcast.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in creating engaging content for podcasts, including writing scripts, conducting research as well as for short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), Also identifying and booking guests. The right candidate will have a knack for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce high-quality content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Script Writing: Develop compelling and engaging scripts for podcasts, ensuring the tone and content align with the brand and target audience. Adapt writing style to different formats, including conversational dialogue for podcasts and snappy, attention-grabbing scripts for reels.
Research: Conduct thorough research on topics, trends, and potential guests to create informative and relevant podcast episodes.
Guest Coordination: Identify and reach out to potential guests, handle scheduling, and prepare interview questions that align with the episodes theme.
Content Development: Collaborate with producers, hosts, and other team members to brainstorm and develop podcast episode ideas. Stay updated on the latest trends in social media, podcasting, and content creation to generate fresh ideas and formats.
Editing & Proofreading: Review scripts for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, making necessary revisions to ensure high-quality content.
Meeting Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a scriptwriter, content writer, or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience writing for podcasts, social media reels, or digital content.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
• Ability to write in a variety of tones, from professional to casual, and adapt to different content styles.
• Strong research skills and an understanding of content trends across social platforms.

* Background in journalism, media studies, or a related field is a plus.,
