Location: Can work remote plus visit the Alexandria, Egypt (San Stefano) office for team meetings.

SCRUM MASTERY

Do you remove blockers before developers feel them? Can you shepherd backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives while keeping DORA metrics trending up? We are hiring a Scrum Master to coach our cross‑functional team—backend, frontend, DevOps, UX/UI and AI engineers—through the early releases of the GRC platform.

BACKGROUND

Allendevaux & Company is combining deep regulatory expertise with advanced engineering to build an AI-central GRC tool comprised of many modules. You will embed with an initial pod of ~15 engineers in Alexandria, ensuring predictable delivery while the product and AI roadmaps accelerate.

EXPERIENCE

• 3 + years facilitating Scrum or Kanban for SaaS or enterprise software teams.
• Proven success coaching teams on story slicing, velocity tracking, and empirical forecasting.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable agile ALM tooling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps or SRE concepts sufficient to remove impediments.

• Excellent communicator with spoken and written English, bridging engineers, product managers, and executives.

• Data‑driven; tracks sprint health with burn‑down charts and cycle‑time dashboards.
• Calm under pressure; turns production incidents into actionable retrospectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate sprint ceremonies—planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives.
• Shield the team from scope creep and external interruptions.
• Coach product owner on writing INVEST user stories and maintaining a healthy backlog.
• Track and publish delivery metrics (velocity, lead time, escape‑defect rate).
• Identify and remove impediments in collaboration with DevOps and platform leads.
• Champion agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with the CAIO’s AI pod to align cross‑team dependencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent credential.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one agile project management tool (Jira, ADO, Clubhouse, etc.).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2) or security/compliance domains.
• Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) or multi‑team release trains.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and value‑stream mapping.
