Scrum Master

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master who can effectively support Agile teams while having a strong understanding of Security and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and highly skilled in Jira setup and reporting.

Location: Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Security and DevOps concepts and practices
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams
• Configure and manage Jira workflows and dashboards to ensure accurate and efficient reporting
• Design reporting dashboards that provide clear insights without overwhelming leadership
• Ensure reporting structures minimize or eliminate the need for rework

Key Requirement:

• Strong expertise in Jira configuration and reporting dashboards is critical for this role

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Security concepts
• Hands-on experience with Jira configuration, workflows, and dashboard/reporting setup
• Proven ability to create clear, concise reports for leadership without unnecessary complexity
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working closely with developers and cross-functional teams
• Scrum certifications such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or equivalent are preferred
