Position Title: Scrum Master
Location: Plano, Texas

Pay Rate: $45.00/hour
Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master and Development Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of guiding Agile teams successfully in software development projects. In this role, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, foster continuous improvement, and ensure the smooth delivery of projects within a hybrid Waterfall and Agile environment. You will work closely with client teams and outsourced development vendors—including onshore and offshore resources—to manage capacity, monitor SLAs and KPIs, and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with product owners to maintain a clear product backlog and project goals
  • Assist in sprint and release planning, including effort estimation and capacity planning
  • Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress
  • Promote adherence to Agile principles and Scrum practices across teams
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Track and report performance metrics including burn-down charts, velocity, story completion, control charts, and cumulative flow diagrams
  • Manage stakeholder communication, project status updates, risks, and issue resolution
  • Balance delivery within a hybrid environment, managing prioritized quarterly goals using Agile practices
  • Oversee resource allocation and team health, ensuring SLA and KPI targets are met

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SDLC
  • Proven experience in tracking and optimizing Agile delivery metrics and resource utilization
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence)
  • Ability to work effectively in remote and distributed teams (onshore, nearshore, offshore)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex project environments
  • Experience mentoring Agile teams and working closely with clients and vendors

Preferred:

  • Experience in consulting or professional services settings
  • Knowledge of other Agile frameworks such as DevOps, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Technical background or familiarity with software development practices
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
