Role: Scrum Master

Title: AVP/VP

Location: NYC, NY(Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Fulltime

Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required

Required Experience: 7+ years

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong technical background who has transitioned from hands-on technical roles into Agile project delivery and Scrum leadership. The ideal candidate should have deep insight into the technical side of projects while effectively driving Agile methodologies, team collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Guide and coach teams on Agile/Scrum best practices

• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

• Remove impediments and help teams maintain productivity and sprint goals

• Track sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics

• Support technical teams with strong understanding of development lifecycle and engineering practices

• Drive continuous improvement within Agile processes and team collaboration

• Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders in fast-paced environments

Required Skills:

• 7–10 years of overall IT experience

• Strong experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments

• Prior hands-on technical/development experience before transitioning into Scrum Master role

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, technical architecture, and engineering concepts

• Experience managing Agile delivery for enterprise applications/projects

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe are preferred

• Experience working with distributed/global teams

• Financial services or enterprise domain experience is a plus
