Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and a proven track record of successfully guiding teams through the development process. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Ensure that the team follows Agile principles and practices.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and development team to prioritize and deliver high-quality software.
- Identify and eliminate impediments or obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
- Act as a servant leader to ensure the team has the necessary resources and support.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing action plans based on feedback.
- Promote a mindset of learning and adaptation within the team.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the team on Agile and Scrum practices.
- Foster a self-organizing and cross-functional team culture.
- Track and report key Agile metrics to monitor team performance and delivery.
- Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and guide decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience of related experience, including 2+ years of experience as Scrum Master in Agile Development
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Certified Scrum Master, Scale Agile Framework or related experience.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Experience in the dental/healthcare/retail industry.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum principles and practices.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams toward Agile maturity.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and project management software.
