JOB SUMMARY

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide security at all promotional events sponsored by Harrah’s/Caesars Republic
Assists guests by giving directions and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner.
Report/communicate all incidents/accidents at Harrah’s/Caesars Republic sponsored events.
Assists with crowd control as needed.
Checks identification (wrist bands and or lanyards and credentials) of guest to insure proper admittance and control at events.
Patrols the parking lot and garage by foot
Monitors and observes the parking lot and garage for disturbances, crimes, fire hazards, and undesirable persons and reports these issues to Security supervision.
Complete written statements as needed.
Controls and directs traffic as needed.
Ensures the delivery of great customer service

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Previous special event background preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Literacy and fluency in English
Computer literacy preferred
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Auditory and visual fields must include immediate environment
Ability to tolerate fluctuations in temperatures
Ability to work inside and outside events during all conditions
Ability to move quickly in response to emergency situations
Ability to climb 7 flights of stairs to provide assistance during an emergency
Must be able to bend, lift up to 45 lbs. and to carry the weight up to 20 feet
Must be able to walk/stand up to 8 hours per day

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment. This position requires at background check and urine test drug screening.
