Role Description

The SDET role combines software development and testing expertise to deliver high-quality software through automation. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure efficient and reliable testing processes.

The role will have a focus across multiple projects globally and will interact with project teams in different zones. This is an opportunity to work with different solutions and different teams.

Specific Role Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable automated test frameworks.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback.
Refactor and optimize automation scripts for reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with developers, Testers, and product teams to identify automation opportunities.
Ensure high test coverage and contribute to defect prevention and early detection.
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards for test automation.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on automation best practices.

Experience required

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript or Python.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Virtuoso, Playwright).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
UI Based automation testing experience
Experience in natural language scripting / codeless automation solutions
Experience with API automated testing
Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
Solid experience with data driven testing with a good understanding of data requirements for automated testing
Strong route cause analysis skills to resolve test automation maintenance
Experience working in Agile environments.
Excellent technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
