Manager Consulting Delivery
Role Overview
The Consulting Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of consulting engagements across clients and industries. This role requires strong expertise in project/program management, stakeholder engagement, and consulting methodologies. The manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations, while driving continuous improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of consulting engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage project planning, execution, and governance across multiple consulting assignments.
  • Collaborate with clients to define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management for consulting projects.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to solution design and innovation.
  • Mentor and guide consulting teams, fostering professional growth and capability development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Report on project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10–15 years of experience in consulting delivery / project management with strong leadership expertise.
  • Proven track record of managing large‑scale consulting engagements across industries.
  • Strong knowledge of consulting methodologies, frameworks, and delivery models.
  • Expertise in program/project management tools (MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with digital transformation, IT strategy, or business process improvement projects.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage global delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/SAFe, ITIL Expert.
  • Experience in retail, BFSI, or technology consulting domains.
  • Exposure to cloud, AI/ML, and emerging technologies in consulting delivery.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma for process improvement.
