Seals Sales Manager Turkey


SKF Seals is an independent business unit in the SKF Group having a sales turnover of 5.7 BSEK and over 3500 employees. We support our global Automotive and Industrial customers from our offices across the different regions and countries.


As Seals Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to promote profitable growth and to maintain a high standard of customer experience throughout the sales and delivery journey.


What you can expect in this role:


  • Manage the growth of our Industrial Seals business as a core objective across your accounts by taking the lead role in the negotiation of customer contracts.
  • Be responsible for P&L of the Sales Unit business
  • Develop solid relationships and understanding with customers at senior management level and identify and create opportunities that deliver value to both SKF and the customer.
  • Create the necessary support to engage with your key accounts to establish a long term growth strategy.
  • Create and implement industry and customer strategy and deployment plans.
  • Improve our customer ratings with our OEM, End Users and Distributor customers, enabling access to new opportunities.
  • Collaborate across both the wider Regional EMEA Seals teams to support strategic initiatives across common customers, build internal and external relationships, and continuously create and leverage new contacts at your accounts.
  • Effectively manage order book in close collaboration with Customer Experience Team and coordinate, guide and measure activity to deliver positive results.
  • Identify new business opportunities and customer projects and activate / coordinate the RFQ process and new products offering with relevant internal / external stakeholders.
  • Promote our Purpose and Values through the organization

We expect you to have/be:


  • Degree in engineering or business, or equivalent work experience, with a demonstrated experience in sales or technical roles.
  • Good organizational skills and attitude in people management.
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.
  • Distinct customer orientation with outside-in approach.
  • Self-motivated and execution focused with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities combined with a practical mindset for implementation.
  • Proficiency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
  • Availability to travel.

Additional information:


The position is based in Turkey, Istanbul, on local contract.


You will report to the Manager Sales Europe South, East, MEA, AE and Sales Ops EMEA, who is located in Italy.
