Job Summary
CTAM, a marketing organization focused on the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Search Engine Marketing Manager to support a national, award-winning B2C digital marketing initiative that drives leads to major Internet and Cable TV providers like Comcast, Spectrum, and Cox. This individual will support the marketing team with the development and implementation of online advertising strategies, as well as the management of paid search efforts. The SEM Manager is responsible for evaluating, refining, and enhancing campaign performance to reach target audiences with maximum effectiveness, as well as working cross-functionally to ensure alignment with CTAM’s overall marketing strategy.

Duties

  • Campaign Strategy & Management: Develop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies to meet traffic, lead generation, and revenue objectives.
  • Keyword Research & Optimization: Identify targeted keywords, develop ad groups, and optimize bids to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Ad Copy Creation: Create compelling and high-converting ads that are aligned with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets across campaigns to ensure efficient expenditures and optimal returns.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights through regular reporting (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS).
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to improve the performance of ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
  • Platform Expertise: Stay current on industry trends and platform enhancements (e.g., Google AdWords, Microsoft Advertising).
  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the content, SEO, and creative teams to ensure campaigns are executed cohesively and aligned with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Landing Page Optimization: Work with product and design teams to develop landing pages that are optimized for conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all platform policies, industry regulations, and brand guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Participate in a variety of other CTAM projects as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.·
  • 5+ years of progressive work experience in SEM, including management of a 7-figure paid media budget.
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of participants in a co-op marketing environment.
  • Passion for helping create “best-in-class” marketing programs that leverage data, insights, and innovations within the industry.
  • Google Ads Certification and/or Microsoft Advertising Certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven history of improving ad operations to impact results and ROI.
  • Strong analytic skills and an ability to grasp complex data and reports.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they complement paid search efforts.
  • Proven ability to drive results in a competitive environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills and Ability to work independently to accomplish business objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
