Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with a strong focus on driving organic traffic, improving keyword rankings, and optimizing online visibility—preferably within the UK transportation or cab service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Optimize on-page and off-page SEO elements, including metadata, internal linking, and backlinks.
• Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
• Collaborate with the content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments.
• Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Develop local SEO strategies to enhance visibility in UK-specific searches for cab and transport services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably for UK-based clients or transportation/cab service businesses.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page/off-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
• Knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within deadlines.
