Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end SEO projects from strategy to execution, QA, and delivery aligning with business goals and KPIs.
  • Develop data-driven SEO strategies for websites targeting both traditional search and emerging AI-driven environments (Google’s AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, etc.).
  • Conduct comprehensive audits across technical, on-page, off-page, and content elements to uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Establish and optimize SEO operational processes, cross-team workflows, governance models, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented site-wide.
  • Develop and execute GEO strategies to improve content positioning and brand authority on generative engines and AI-powered search interfaces.
  • Leverage analytics platforms (Google Search Console, GA4, schema validators, and GEO analytics tools) to measure campaign performance and guide continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to prepare SEO reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of algorithm updates, AI search changes, and generative content evolution to ensure proactive adaptation of strategies.
  • Mentor junior SEO and content professionals to build strategic and technical competence in advanced SEO disciplines.
  • Introduce best practices, training modules, and knowledge frameworks for organizational SEO maturity.
  • Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, create high-impact SEO/GEO proposals, and lead pitch presentations for existing and prospective clients.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Deep expertise in search engine algorithms, semantic SEO, structured data models, AI search behavior, and ranking systems
  • Proven project management skills with experience handling multi-site, international, multi-domain, or complex SEO programs.
  • Proficiency in AI search and GEO models—understanding how generative engines index, summarize, and cite content.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Analytics4, Google Search Console, and Surfer SEO.
  • Familiarity with LLM-driven search behavior and prompt-oriented optimization.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Up-to-date understanding of E-E-A-T principles and topic authority in the AI search ecosystem.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing international or multi-domain SEO projects.
  • Exposure to GEO model tracking tools or AI overview visibility frameworks.
  • Certifications in SEO, AI marketing, analytics, or digital strategy.
  • Background in content automation or natural language generation platforms.
