Job Title: Accountant Reports to: CEOScope and PurposeThe accountant is mainly responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries (accounts receivables and payables), ledgers and bank reconciliations. He/ She processes financial records such as bills, invoices, accounts payable and more.Responsibilities &amp; Duties&middot; Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.&middot; Compile and present reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.&middot; Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.&middot; Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.&middot; Ensure social security and payroll income tax are duly recorded and paid to the competent authorities.&middot; Keep VAT records properly maintained and presented to the fiscal authorities in a timely manner.&middot; Supervises physical inventories at regular intervals at all stores/warehouses, note discrepancies and recommend adjustment entries.&middot; Maintain a healthy relation with suppliers through timely payment of due invoices&middot; Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.&middot; Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.&middot; Maintains a healthy cashflow throughout the organization.&middot; Minimizes extensions in liability settlements with reference to the CEO decisions.&middot; Maintains a healthy data entry (journals, ledgers, payables&hellip;) on the system and follows up on results, gaps, shortages and surpluses of any kind.&middot; Follows up on receivables from aggregators and third parties which the organization deals with.Skills &amp; Qualifications&middot; Accounting &amp; Reporting skills&middot; Time Management skills&middot; Team player&middot; Judgment and Decision-Making skills&middot; Attention to Detail&middot; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.&middot; ConfidentialityRequirements of the job&middot; Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field, Master&rsquo;s degree is a plus.&middot; 3 Years of Experience; preferably in the F &amp; B industry&middot; Excellent oral and written English Or Arabic, other language is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
