Position Overview:

Customer Service:

Collections:

<li>Contacts patients with overdue balances through multiple communication methods such as but not limited to phone calls, emails, patient portal and live chat.</li>
<li>Set up payment arrangements within the payment plan policy.</li>
<li>Follows up with patients who have expired or denied payments from automated payment reminders.</li>
<li>Monitors collections queues to ensure accounts which are past due follow the collection process and issue the required notices by law related to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act are provided to patients before they are sent to a collection agency.</li>
<li>Collaborate with management to resolve difficult collection issues and escalate as necessary. Report on collection performance and any significant issues or trends to management.</li>
<li>In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include other duties and responsibilities as assigned, based upon Winona Health&rsquo;s needs or requirements.</li>

 &bull; Perform transfers, withdrawals, loan payments by transfer and advances from lines of credit by transfer or check. Takes check orders over the phone and processes Credit Card Payments and other consumer loan payments.
 
 
 &bull; Assist members with the transfer program, payroll deductions, direct deposit, stop payments, account-based inquiries, consumer loan and credit card inquiries.
 
 
 &bull; Promote the credit union by cross-selling products and services focusing on department goals and member needs.
 
 
 *Cash handling and teller duties when applicable.
 
 
 &bull; Handle member inquiries and solve problems.
 
 
 &bull; Other duties may be required and assigned by the manager.
