Rationale

The ability to prepare students for RAD exams is an advantage, but not a requirement.</li><li>Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that foster technical proficiency, artistic expression, and a love for dance.</li><li>Choreograph, co-organise and be part of the school shows/ Ballet showcase</li><li>Implement a hands-on/hands-off, artistic approach to teaching, ensuring that participants are fully engaged and working toward specific goals</li><li>Keep up-to-date in the teaching area/discipline, including licenses, training or certificates as applicable</li></ul>Other Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with recreation activities and group fitness programs for special events (such as spring/summer camps and National Sports Day).</li><li>Accomplish weekly &amp; monthly reports and attend mandatory meetings.</li></ul>Essential Qualifications:<ul><li>Required - Royal Academy of Dance qualifications and certification. </li><li>Proven experience teaching ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap to students of all ages.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field</li><li>B.A. (Hons) Ballet Education (or similar undergraduate degree)</li></ul>Professional Certifications<ul><li>Certified Ballet Teacher</li><li>Registered Ballet Teacher</li><li>RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet Teacher</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>With Professional level experience within three (3) years of teaching experience</li><li>Pre-Primary in Dance up to Intermediate/Advanced Foundation</li><li>Judging experience is an advantage</li></ul>Other Skills<ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups of staff and students</li><li>Demonstrated involvement as a practising artist in the specific disciplines or specialisations of the respective style of dance</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Holding a valid International or GCC driving license or converting the current driving license to a Qatar driving license is an advantage.</li><li>Ages 21 to 35</li><li>Foreign Language: Must be able to communicate in English adequately.</li></ul>How to Apply: If you are an enthusiastic and skilled dance teacher who is ready to make a difference in the lives of aspiring dancers, we would love to hear from you!
