<p>We are looking for a reliable and caring Assistant Teacher to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will teach and supervise them while motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.</p><p>Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><p>*To assist the lead teacher in all classroom functions, implement lesson plans, tend to children&rsquo;s needs, maintain room design, and adhere to health and safety procedures to take the role and position when the lead teacher is not present</p><p>*Ensuring professional development requirements are met, specifically 16 hours of training per year. Position Summary</p>

The Assistant Infant Teacher - OTR works directly alongside our Lead Infant Teacher to provide safe, consistent, and nurturing care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months at our OTR campus. This is the right role for someone with a genuine heart for infant care, a dependable work ethic, and a desire to grow within a Gold-rated early childhood program.</p>

Key Responsibilities</p>

<li>Support the Lead Teacher in implementing Creative Curriculum routines and individualized infant care plans</li>
<li>Provide attentive, responsive, hands-on care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supporting infant development</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized infant classroom following all Ohio DCY health and sanitation standards</li>
<li>Actively supervise infants at all times during activities, tummy time, rest, meals, and transitions</li>
<li>Assist with daily documentation of infant routines, feedings, and developmental notes using Brightwheel</li>
<li>Communicate warmly and professionally with OTR families during drop-off and pick-up</li>
<li>Prepare classroom materials and assist with room setup and lesson prep under Lead Teacher direction</li>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, ECE coursework, or Associate degree preferred</li>
<li>Prior experience in a licensed childcare setting with infants strongly preferred</li>
<li>Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to working with children</li>
<li>Genuine warmth, patience, and attentiveness with infants and their families</li>
