 The Behavioral Health Specialist / Employee Wellness Clinician serves as a licensed mental health professional within the CMPD Office of Employee Wellness, providing confidential consultation, education, and organizational wellness support to sworn and civilian employees. This role focuses on early intervention, prevention, resource navigation, and system-level wellness integration, rather than ongoing therapy or clinical treatment. The clinician works collaboratively with peers, chaplains, supervisors, command staff, and external partners to enhance employee well-being, reduce stigma, and support a healthy and sustainable workforce.

  Major Duties And Responsibilities

   Contributes to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of employee wellness initiatives and prevention-focused programming.

   Provides brief, solution-focused wellness consultations to sworn and civilian employees seeking support for occupational stress, personal concerns, or resource navigation.

   Assists in facilitating critical incident group debriefings with all involved personnel (sworn and civilian), as appropriate.

   Provides consultation and training support to peer support members and chaplains in coordination with the Office of Employee Wellness.

   Develops and delivers psychoeducational trainings and briefings related to wellness, stress management, suicide prevention, and supportive leadership practices.

<p><b>Position Summary</b></p><p>Brighter Horizon Treatment Center (BHTC) is seeking a qualified Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) to provide specialty mental health rehabilitative services within our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).</p><p>The MHRS delivers Medi-Cal billable rehabilitative services under the direction of a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) and in accordance with the client&rsquo;s Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP). <ul><li>Assist psychiatry and clinical staff and perform reception duties with excellent customer service, including: front desk coverage, greeting clients and visitors and directing them to the appropriate staff members within the Behavioral Health building(s); answering and triaging phone calls; scheduling and rescheduling client appointments; routing calls and taking messages. Responsible for monitoring the voicemail group inbox and ensuring timely responses and follow-up.</li>
<li>Complete client check-in and check-out procedures</li>
<li>Collection of co-pays, co-insurance, outstanding bills, preparing daily deposit sheets. Adhere to cash handling procedures.</li>
<li>Responsible for management of Reminder call system- House Calls Pro and updating electronic medical record and engaging clients for rescheduled/cancelled appointments.</li>
<li>Follow all policies and procedures of the Behavioral Health Clinic</li>
<li>Serve as the point person for all mail operations, including sorting inter-office mail, receiving and distributing daily mail, maintaining postage and mail procedures, fulfilling outgoing mail requirements, managing the postage machine, and providing Accounting with monthly departmental postage reports.</li>
<li>Manage copier machines and record destruction services</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with the Corporate Integrity Department to ensure fulfillment of record requests and office practices are in compliance with HIPAA Regulations</li>
<li>Complete tasks assigned to the administrative group in Google Workspace in a timely manner, as submitted by Clinical and Psychiatry providers</li>
<li>Use the Theralink Telehealth system to create client accounts and schedule appointments as needed.</li>

<p>Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is the largest, private, not-for-profit provider of mental health, substance use disorder, housing, residential, and employment services in the Miami Valley. Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere (HOPE) is an Eastway program that works with adults with behavioral health and/or substance abuse disorders experiencing homeless. We are hiring a Community Support Specialist (CSS)/Case Manager for HOPE.</p><p>This position will participate in an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrist, nurse, therapist, vocational specialist, housing coordinator, and other community support specialists in support of the recovery and housing stability of persons with co-occurring disorders including serious mental illness and drug and alcohol dependence.</p><p><b>Duties</b></p><p>&middot; Works as part of the HOPE Housing ACT Team of 10 employees.</p><ul><li>Works as a team with all clients in the HOPE Housing program to help them achieve their goals and stable housing.</li><li>Actively works with clients who have limited awareness of illness and poor adherence to treatment regimes.
