Position responsible for ensuring that all OR charges are captured in an appropriate and timely manner in the OR Department.
</p></li><li><p>Audits and charges accounts for the OR Business Office to accurately capture all of the operating room and anesthesia charges; this includes OR acuity, anesthesia time, implants, perfusion time and OR &amp; Anesthesia supplies.</p></li><li><p>
Reconciling, auditing and analyzing all charges pertaining to perfusion, anesthesia and the operating rooms. Basic understanding of excel and ability to create reports for supply charges. Reviews patient account records to identify, analyze, and reconcile charging errors or omissions.
</p></li><p></p><li><p>Collaborates with Operating Scheduling department to ensure appropriate chart and data analysis for OR charges.</p></li><li>
As needed, will assist with physical preparation of patient and physical environment according to the age/needs of the patient/population served. Transports and transfers patients as necessary. Functions as a porter between departments ensuring required medical supplies, information, specimens, and products are delivered in a timely fashion.</li><li>
Collaborates with Holding Area Nurse to provide staffing resources to the Holding Area.</li><li>
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.</li><li>
